Where most obsidian objects assert themselves through weight and mass, Swing does something more unusual — its sides curve upward from the surface, lifting the form into something closer to a vessel than a slab. Cut from a single block of Jet Black obsidian, the piece carries a single circular bowl at its centre with two cigar rest.
